A sworn translation (in Indonesia called “terjemahan tersumpah”) is an official, legally recognized translation done by a certified sworn translator who has been formally authorized by the government to translate documents with legal validity.
A sworn translation includes:
✔ Translator’s seal/stamp,
✔ Translator’s signature,
✔ An official statement confirming the translation is accurate.
This makes the translated document valid the same way as the original for legal purposes.
