Investor Kitas Extension

Foreign investors can renew their Investor Visa. The initial KITAS is typically granted for one or two years, and you can apply for renewals before it expires. The renewal process is similar to the initial application, requiring updated documents and fulfilling any new requirements that may have come into effect.

Requirements

Document Requirements
1. Passport that is valid for at least 18 (eighteen) months.
2. Domicile Letter (proof of residence in Indonesia) — from Banjar or local authority.
3. SKTT (Surat Keterangan Tempat Tinggal / Temporary Residential Registration) 4. Personal bank statement with minimum amount USD $2000 or equivalent the last 3 months period (including name, date of period, and balance account).
5. Company / Investment documents (for the PMA company you’re investing in), e.g.: company deed / establishment papers, investment license, NPWP, proof you hold shares.
6. Copy of current KITAS / visa stamp (the one about to expire).

Important:
1. It’s strongly recommended to start the extension process at least 1 to 3 months before your KITAS expires, ideally about 4–6 weeks in advance.
2. The applicant must be physically present in Indonesia during the extension process.
