Limited Stay Permit (KITAS)

Renews stay for retirees aged 55+. Requires proof of pension income, domicile letter, SKTT, bank statement, and valid KITAS. Must apply before expiry and remain in Indonesia during the process.

For foreigners married to Indonesian citizens or foreign children of WNI. Requires KTP/KK of Indonesian sponsor, marriage or birth certificates, SKTT, and valid KITAS. Straightforward as long as relationship remains valid.

Renews both the work permit and residence permit. Only valid if employed by the same company with compliant documents. Requires RPTKA, IMTA extension, company papers, SKTT, and passport validity.

Extends the stay permit for spouse/children of a KITAS holder. Follows the main KITAS validity. Requires relationship documents, domicile proof, SKTT, and bank statement. Main KITAS must still be valid or under renewal.

Renews the Investor KITAS for another 1–2 years. Requires updated PMA documents, domicile letter, bank statement, and valid current KITAS. Must apply before expiry and stay in Indonesia during processing.

For retirees aged 55+ seeking long-term residence. Allows leasing property, opening bank accounts, and multiple travel.

For remote workers employed by a foreign company to live in Indonesia for up to 12 months. Requires proof of foreign income.

Work + stay permit sponsored by an Indonesian employer. Legal employment tied to job title and company.

For foreign children with at least one Indonesian parent. Allows living and studying in Indonesia.

KITAS for foreigners married to Indonesian citizens. Allows long-term living and multiple entry into Indonesia.

For parents of a KITAS/KITAP holder to reside legally in Indonesia for family reunification.

For foreign minors under 18 joining their parent who holds KITAS. Allows living and studying in Indonesia.

For the legal spouse of a KITAS holder to live in Indonesia. Multiple entry permitted. No work rights.

Residence permit for PT PMA shareholders/investors to manage their company. Allows multiple entry and legal business activity within their own PMA.
