Address Mutation in Indonesian immigration is the process of updating your residential address when you hold a KITAS or KITAP.It is similar to “lapor pindah alamat” or “mutasi alamat”, This is an administrative update, not a visa type.
This process is mandatory for all foreigners holding:
✔ KITAS (Temporary Stay Permit)
✔ KITAP (Permanent Stay Permit)
You must file address mutation if:
✔ You move to a different house/apartment/villa
✔ You change regency/city (kabupaten/kota)
✔ You relocate to a new sponsor’s jurisdiction
✔ You move for work, family, retirement, etc.
✔ You rent a new villa and leave the previous one
